Microsoft Releases Netflix Video Application for Windows Mobile
Software giant, Microsoft, has launched a free Windows Mobile application allowing Netflix customers to view movie trailers and order digital videos using their mobile devices.
‘Mobile Manager for Netflix‘ makes it possible for users to manage their instant streaming and DVD queues, and download movies for later viewing on a PC, Xbox, TiVo, or other digital video recorder.
The application does not (yet) allow for the streaming of Netflix videos directly to mobile devices, but is nevertheless an important step towards the integration of wireless multimedia and Video On Demand.
