Free Screen Capture Tools
Every few months, the conversation starts up…what are some free screen
capture tools district personnel can use to create tutorials. You know,
I always thought that my team of folks would jump at this
opportunity…unfortunately, they don’t share my enthusiasm. I know *I*
would have jumped at the opportunity to record tutorials. Now, we just
use content embedded in our learning management system (we call it
ePath).
So, what’s the list of free tools? Here’s the list of items that popped
up in one particular conversation but is by no means an exhaustive list:
- Jing.com
- Wink
- Camstudio
- Camtasia
Now, of these, Camstudio is the one that’s been used by one school
district in Texas. Though I’m prevented from sharing the name of the
person who shared the link, I do want to encourage you to go check out
some of that work at their site, BIT
TV.
Two of the titles that jumped out at me included these for Edublogs.org.
